I keep reading posts about this amazing cliffhanger that makes me wanna whiz thru the book lol! I told myself before I got the book that I was gonna take my time with it since I rushed thru the 1st 3 and missed so many obvious details. I'm excited to find out what all the craziness is about lol!!!

Gage. WTF?! The way he's handled the whole Chloe situation was just horrible, so he lost major cool points in this book. By the time I was 2/3 thru the book I was ready to take a cue from "the pretty Oliver" and renounce my Team Gage status and switch to Team Logan.
But now I'm 80% in, and can see that Gage's redeeming qualities are re-emerging, so I will officially straddle the line between Team Gage and Team Logan…and might as well throw Team Marshall in there since I feel his plight too lol.
BUT there are a lot of things that confuse me (as usual lol) SO when I finish this book (hopefully in the next few hours) will it be safe to come out of hiding and ask questions lol?
So I've been reading the comments in these forums for a while now but not saying anything…. But after the ending of Wicked. I feel like I have to…That book was amazing and the ending was great. When I finished reading it I was shocked, and there was nonwaybI could have seen that coming. It was a nice way to keep us all on our toesvwaiting for Vex!

Okay, so I'm 42 percent through WICKED. The way Gage is acting solidify's my Team Logan stance (and not just because of his name.)
I must admit, I was reading WICKED on my way to my acting lessons (I feel the need to explain that I was not the one driving Hahaha), and during my class, I couldn't stop thinking about WICKED! You're books are truly amazing, you're a "wicked" writer! Hahaha. THAT'S a knee slapper, right there!

OMG, I cannot believe that ending!!! My husband was looking at me crazy when I finished WICKED a minute ago and immediately said "Holy Shit Fuck what the hell was that?". LOL and now I feel the need to go back and reread the series again! I loved WICKED so much more than I expected! When gage was being an idiot with the whole chloe blackmail I actually cried and I started to lean towards team logan but he redeemed himself and I am now still team gage! However, even though I am team gage I cannot believe that ending with logan and I am positive there will be no sleep in my near future becasue my mind is on overdrive at the moment. I am going to be dying until VEX comes out. My daughter turns 2 Nov. 3rd so hopefully all the birthday and halloween planning will make the time speed by! Anyway I have told you on amazon how much I love your writing and that I felt like some kind of creepy stalker well my stalker status has just been promoted to obbessive creepy stalker lol. Wow what an ending! I don't buy it though. I'm totally team Gage but I feel like Logan really does love her! I'm kinda letting Marshall grow on me too. I mean he's creepy but he has TRIED to help Skyla. I'm still not sure what his true intentions are though.

Good morning Addison! (Well morning for me anyway lol) I woke up extra early this morning so I could get in some reading time before the kiddos got up. I am enjoying the book so far! I just got through the part where Brielle clarifies her working situation. I have to say I enjoy how it was written, very Brielle and sassy lol. I might be a bit biased knowing I inspired the clarification to begin with ;)Thank you so much for that BTW, it clears up my litle bit of confusion 🙂 So I am off to read again. So I had not previosly joined a team. I was kinda liking all of them. Even though Marshall can seem harsh and creepy. And I still want to believe somehow Logan is good and loves Skyla. And though I was disappointed in Gage not being honest with Skyla, I still like him. But I think I am starting to favor Marshall. He has always been honest with her. He tries to help her. Seems to genuinely like her. But still gives her freedoms to figure stuff out on her own even if that means she gets herself into trouble. Seeing as he is so powerful, I am sure if he used all that power he could have already won her and even controlled a lot of her actions. I think he is giving her time to fall in love with him. And he probably would be better matched for her – protect her and fight with her. Plus once she chooses him, he would probably do anything for her. Guess I'll be waiting to see what happens.

Apparently most of your fans are speed readers (unlike myself) so it took me a while (I even read while making goody bags for my godson's birthday party lol), but I'm finally finished.
I could tell by everyone's comments I was supposed to be in store for a crazy ending, but I always keep in mind the 2 things I've learned thru reading the Celestra series: (1) nothing in Paragon is ever as it seems, and (2) Addison Moore knows exactly what she's doing.
That's why the ending didn't bother me at all. Everything Logan has done so far concerning Skyla is out of love for her and his desire to have her for himself, so this will all make sense either in VEX or Book 6.
I will only ask one question for now, because it's kind of a doozy: After reading the scene with Skyla and Logan in Rome, I have finalized my theory – it seems like each faction is allowed a mode of "transportation"
– Levatio/Noster can teleport
– Counts can treble (but need a supervising spirit)
– Celestra can light drive (but need a supervising spirit to travel into the future)
If all the above is correct, then it would make sense that Logan can both light drive and treble, BUT Logan tells his parents he just found out he's part Count (when he and and Gage found his name under "Hybrids"), HOWEVER, he did the treble way back in ETHEREAL, so does that mean he's lying and he's known he was a Count all along? And what supervising spirit has he been working with since the beginning?
Also, I'm in awe of the way you give ALL your characters unique and believable voices and personalities. Especially with the Big 3: you do an excellent job of giving Gage, Logan, and Marshall distinctively different (and male) personalities that have developed realistically along the course of the series. I've had a story swimming around in my head for a couple years, and I finally decided to put pen to page and I realize how hard it is, when you have a large cast of characters, to give everyone their own specific voice (I feel like I'm getting multiple personality disorder lol).
You are definitely a force to be reckoned with (I won't be surprised if Candace the Caelestis is based a little bit on you lol). Another stellar book in the bag!
I can't wait until tomorrow, so when everyone asks me "How was your weekend?", I can say "It was WICKED!"
Okay so turns out I do have questions lol.
1) What's the deal with the transfer and why did Marshall land Skyla there twice?
2) The landon body floating in the tube, is that Drakes baby or Skylas new step brother?
3) Are we gonna see who Holden ended up with for a body?
I'm pretty sure u won't be able to answer these because they'll be answered soon enough but I figured it was worth a shot. I'm off to read Wicked again in case the answer is in there and I missed it lol!

@ Bckygnzlz – Marshall isn't the one that did it, check Chapter 50: “So it is called the Transfer. How did we get there in the first place?”
“I don’t know,” his lips twist when he says it while holding back a smile.
“You must have been there. Hey, are you watching me?” I blink into the realization.
“Am I watching you, or am I watching the Transfer?”
I think the more interesting question might be: How come Gage was taken with Skyla into the Transfer when he was with her, but Logan wasn't taken when he was with her after the trees grabbed them?…just a thought
Good point Amber J. I just don't really trust Marshall. I think he and Logan are alike in the way they only tell Skyla half truths to pacify her.

I am starting to wonder if Skyla is mentally unstable? For a teen she is a pretty confident hot mess even though everyone hates her. I understand that rage fuels her, but also seems to blind her to other things. (I think Marshall eluded to this as well…does this make me Team Marshall? Is there such a thing?). Don't get me wrong, I COMPLETELY love her character. I am wondering if all the angel blood in her mortal body has anything to do with it?!? Keep up the amazing work. I totally heart this series. Sending high kicks, butterfly tosses, pom poms, and resplendent vibrations.

2. The Landon body is… I can't tell you. It is a Landon, though.

Love your thoughts on the transportation of factions and for the most part you are correct. Supervising spirits and binding spirits are explored further in VEX, mostly the former.
And thank you for the nice words regarding my writing!! What I found most helpful with character building is to keep pushing through and writing down as many words as you can each day. Eventually each character will become frighteningly real to you.
My daughter once said, "Mom your characters are fake, stop talking about them like they're real.' And I said, ' They say they same thing about you.' 😉

Amber Maxwell – Yes, Skyla is going through a very tough time, lol! This has all been an emotional challenge for her and things start heating up in a very real way in VEX. I suppose things can only get worse for her since she's the catalyst who will carry this series to the end. I've already written the end, so all of my writing is linear in that direction. Join me for the Tuesday tease! It's just a sentence or two, but I think it will be fun, and knowing me, I'll probably give too much away. Hopefully VEX will still be enjoyable.
I was SO glad to read your reply to Danetra about Gage. I find myself wondering about him after reading WICKED for a few reasons:
1. Gage has flown way too low under the radar in this series lol. All the drama seems to emanate from or happen to Skyla, Logan, Marshall, and just about everyone else on Paragon lol. He only gets into trouble because he's associated with Logan and Skyla. So it will be refreshing to see him be the center of all-hell-breaking-loose for once (hopefully) in VEX.
2. Gage and Logan seem to have traded places. When we first met them in ETHEREAL, Logan was the cool, confident Alpha male that captured Skyla's heart and Gage was the adorable Emo guy who Skyla only used as a substitute for Logan; but now Gage is the strong anchor in Skyla's life that possesses her mind, body, and soul (well, I'm glad he's taking his time about the "body" part lol) and Logan is desparate, grasping at straws, and forced to make bad decisions just to keep what little of Skyla he has left.
They've done a complete 180 and I didn't even realize this until now because the pacing of your character development has been so perfect, that their evolution fit seamlessly into the storylines, undetected (at least to me).
3. Gage never speaks in specifics about his role in the future – he's always so vague: he won't answer Skyla's question about their children, he didn't say if he was included in the vision of Skyla and Logan living past age 30, we don't even know what happens the second after he kisses the bride lol, or if that civil ceremony is really theirs. And Gage always speaks in infinities: "I will always be with you", "I will always love you", and that's kind of unsettling and slightly morbid 🙁 I've noticed this since ETHEREAL so I was like I'm afraid to get attached to this character cause I don't know if he's going to make it to the end of the series, but he's so irresistible that I can't help but love him like everyone else does, and I'm glad he's still with us…for now lol.
Maybe Logan is just a very good faker. Remember Chloe had a BFF & BF in place for Skyla (and I never thought it was Ellis). Plus, IF Logan was actually getting mentored by Skylas dad I don't really see her dad going along with allowing her to be captured. Wow that sentence kind of got away from me.
Makes sense the counts would have soemthing like the transfer since kiddnapping skyla is on the agenda.
Question and comment: marshall says in Tremble that skylas dad was a friend to him but in wicked her dad kind of freaks when he hears about a Sector. Supposedly Marsall can't lie so what's the deal there?
Also, you'll be great at the teasers. You did it for the cover reveals 🙂
Amber J. – Yes, Gage gets to show a different side of himself in VEX. He's only human, well, partially at least. 😉
Heather – Regarding Skyla's father and Marshall, Marshall has been in the Ethereal plane up until Tremble, and Skyla's father was dead for two years. Does that make sense? When Skyla went to speak with her father after Thanksgiving he had still not met Marshall.

Okay. I stayed up late last night, and finished WICKED. My reaction was this "……." I was speechless. I'm still Team Logan 100 percent. He told Skyla he was going to renounce him being a Celestra, and he knew that he had to do something to prove himself to the Counts. I know Logan would never do anything to hurt Skyla, but at the same time, he may have been lying this whole time. I'm so confused.
Could somebody provide me with some Celestra blood, and a supervising spirit so I can go two months into the future, and read VEX?

I can just picture there being a real Paragon with these people out there. You are at the top of my list of favorite authors along with Casandra Clare and Stephanie Meyer! I can't wait to read everything you put out.

I finished reading Burn at about 12 am,central time, last night and immediately cruised over to the amazon book store to see when the next book was coming, only to find Wicked had been released hours before…of course I bought it! Now I am chewing at the bit waiting for November and hoping we can just skip October. I love this series! (even though I have noticed a few spelling errors, like "layer" for "lair", and so on…). Can't wait!
Oh, and I forgot to mention that I know *exactly* what it's like to have your characters be so real you talk about them like they live just down the block…in fact, there are times I have been absolutely convinced my characters really DO live there…it drives me nuts!

I'm 60% in and will finish the rest this evening. So far, WOW! I found myself trying to read a few chapters during work this morning because I can't put it down! I will say though, as of right now I'm not too sure about Gage! He is making me a little mad!! Ah.. Marshall!… I just want to eat him up! I'll check back in once I'm done!

1. About supervising spirits: Do the supervising spirits that help Celestra light drive into the future have to make the journey with them, or can they remain either in the past or the future and just give the Celestra a blessing or something to travel into the future on their own?
2. We learned from Chloe's diary in BURN that Gage has a history of making his own visions come true. Will this truth be intertwined with secrets that come to the surface again in VEX?

Ok Addison! I finsihed last night!! AHH!! Ok, firt things first, I LOVED it! That ending! OH.MY.GOD! You love giving your readers a jaw dropping ending!!
My thoughts, without giving too much away for those who have not yet finished… First up, Gage. I understand his motive, but I didn't like it, lol! I really like him, but I think his
"relationship" with Chloe turned me off in this book.
Chloe- What a WICKED girl! I found my self talking to Skyla saying GET HER, haha!!
Logan… Uhhh ohh!! I heart Logan so much!! He earned a lot of brownie points in this book, because I thought he was so sweet to Skyla…until the end! What is up with that! He better be one good actor!! I have this vision to what is going to happen in the opening of Vex with Logan and Demetri that I can only cross my fingers I am correct! I don't think I can handle him this way!!
Marshall… Ahh, what can I say… He makes every scene he is in so much better! I can't wait to see more of him in Vex! I'm hoping we get more visions in the next book. I like the visions!!

Someone else mentioned Gage never really telling her details about what he sees. Gage did give her specifics in Wicked about their wedding (in front of a judge and yes he saw Skyla's face).
Also, everything we read is from Skyla's POV. So she's the only one whose motives/ thought/ etc…that we truly know. Everything else is just her observations or impressions which given her crazy brain could be way off 😉
Addison, I'll happily send you any other brilliant ideas that i steal from others. I read and stalk you authors way too much. 😉 Maybe I should just start a book blog…indie YA authors only…hmmm…

But I was the one that said Gage never speaks in specifics:
“I saw us together, we were facing the judge and he said, I now pronounce you man and wife.”
“Did you see my face?”
“When you turned to kiss me. You whispered I love you.”
But he doesn't say they actually said "I do" and they could just be witnesses at Drake and Brielle's wedding or something. But more importantly he won't tell her when she asks about their children, and he didn't include himself in that vision of her and Logan living past 30. He's always so vague about his role in the future.
And I was referring to Chloe saying in BURN that Gage foresaw her secret room being covered with butterflies and then he came over and made them create butterflies and stick them all over the wall.

Hi Amanda, I'm so glad you enjoyed WICKED! There is tons of Marshall in VEX. He and Skyla are interwoven through several plot lines. I don't want to say too much about Gage and Logan's motives, but they are both a little rougher versions of themselves in VEX. Or maybe the word I'm looking for is driven.
Heather – If you ever decide to start that blog, let me know! And, I think you have brilliant ideas. I hope you liked the tease! I had a super busy day yesterday, so I literally was going through the manuscript at midnight. I pulled those lines from page one. I guess I will have enough to stretch for weeks. 😉
Amber J. – Oh yes, yes!!! I thought the same thing when I was writing that. And, I think Skyla once wondered about self-fulfilling prophecies regarding Gage. (Gosh, I cannot even remember if that made it into one of the books or if I deleted it. This is my brain on no sleep, lol!) Please forgive.
Just a side note, (that I thought you might enjoy) I've already written the end of the series and I always write towards those final scenes. And I love to heavily foreshadow. 😉
Amber J-saying I do would actually come before being pronounced man and wife, at least it did at my wedding 😉 so I think that vision is probably accurate. I agree with the implication that Gage is not going to make it given that he won't confirm whether or not he will be living to a ripe old age, which makes me super sad. Also, if I remember correctly. Gage hasn't lied to skyla. So while he may be withholding info or flat out refusing to answer. I think the things he tells her are true.
And, I get what you're talking about now about the self-fulfilling prophecy, but if you'll remember in Burn, Skyla tried to change a vision and couldn't as well. But maybe you were meaning visions Gage sees come true because he makes them come true?
Addison, holy cow, woman. If that's just a couple quotes from the first page we are in for quite the ride! Between, you and Tammara, Tuesday are going to be so good! Her teaser quote from 3? weeks ago was delicious. Graham could give Gage a run for his money. 😉 I'll let you know about the blog–may have to pick your brain for an authors pov. Been toying with the idea for a while now as I have a ridiculous number of books on my Kindle app. I'm afraid the hubby may cut me off soon!
Heather – Yeah, I was basically saying that Gage's visions are iffy, because we don't know if he's seeing things that were meant to happen or if he's seeing things that he will make happen. Remember: "Chloe’s diary is shaping my feelings for Gage, which, in turn, will shape our future, which, in turn, will make his prophecy come to fruition." So his prophecy of them getting married was in a way set in motion by him when he told Chloe he was waiting for Skyla and she wrote that in the diary that Skyla would eventually read and make her love him and want to marry him.
And although I've never been married, I know the "I do" comes first lol, but that's my point, exchanging vows is the only way we could know for sure that it's their wedding, and that Gage's vision is actually legit.
And so yes Addison, you were right, Sklya does wonder about Gage's prophecies 🙂
Also, I was wondering if Skyla will actually have to make a choice of which 1 of the 3 she ends up with? Or will circumstances/fate give her an easy way out and eliminate 2 of them and leave 1 man left standing?

Oh, my! I've been mostly on FB commenting and missed a huge stream of excellent thoughts here :). Thinking that Gage is the well planted BF… That kills me and made me think. I love that A.M. admitted to even foreshadowing the end. That's got me thinking, too. I know that VEX will be here in November (and that's a hard wait); however, I'm more concerned about when book 6 & 7(?) will be out. I must know how it all ends, even if it will keep us thinking about whether it really ever ends…

I'm on my re-read and will have to pay special attention to these parts. I would assume Marshall & the Sectors have an invested interest in Skyla's war, since if she "wins" or dwindles down the Counts enough it would sway the end results of both wars. Also, he said all it takes in one Celestra, implying her, right?!? I'm going off of memory here for the scene right before she's attacked on school grounds and they (Skyla & Gage) are accused of causing the big fire.
Amber J. – I see what you are implying about Chloe and Gage working together, but that brings up so many questions:
– Do you think that Chloe told him the full plan from the start?
– Do you think she is using him without his knowledge?
– Do you think Gage knew all along that Skyla's blood would resurrect Chloe, since he predicted she would return like a butterfly coming out of it's cocoon?
– Argh! I cannot even vocalize all my thoughts on this.
Yet another winner! My only complaint is that you're going to give me a heart attack with all these crazy intense endings!! I haven't read the comments yet, but just curious how long until Vex is ready?!?! Sorry, patience is not my strength! Have a good weekend!
Amy – I don't think Chloe is ever completely honest with anyone lol, so I think she told him just enough to get him to help. He's smart so he should have realized that once Skyla was on Paragon he could back out of the deal and let Chloe stay dead. That's why I believe him when he says he truly forgot to tell his father they no longer wanted to resurrect Chloe, but I also think this is one of those instances where his vision was legit and there's nothing anyone can do to change the future.
BUT, here's 2 things to really think about:
1. Towards the end of BURN, Skyla hears both Gage and Logan in the forest when she's chasing Chloe, and obviously they had to light drive together because Gage can't do it by himself, so if they came together, why is Logan the only one that actually ends up helping Skyla kill Chloe? Why did Gage disappear so conveniently? Hmmm lol.
2. In ETHEREAL Logan said Gage told him Skyla was coming to Paragon the day before she arrived. So why wasn't Gage possessive of Skyla the way you would expect someone who's been waiting for her and plotting to get her here to act? He just let Logan make a move on the girl he knows is supposed to be his? If Gage loved Skyla before he even met her, there's no way he would just let some other dude have her UNLESS he had foreseen that Skyla is going to end up with Logan anyway, when everything is said and done .

Marshall still rubs me the wrong way – he is just too selfish for Skyla – as he points, out if he had to choose, he would always choose himself. But the ending! Oh my!! Hi Cheri22 – Unfortunately it's not your Kindle. Did you purchase it recently? I know that the first week or so it was still wonky. I went back and tried to adjust the file and I'm hoping it worked. Sometimes the file convert looks normal, but when you view it on Kindle it's a little strange. If it was a newer purchase, I'll go back and try to solve the issue again. I"m SO sorry! I'm curious to your answer and if the issue was just towards the back.

Kayleigh, I agree with you. I love all three guys, but I still have my hopes up for Logan. It does seem real what they have. Marshall cracks me up and I love him, but I have a feeling he has bigger and better things happening with him. As for Gage, I am not sure of his intentions yet. Oh if only Addison would let us in on the secret.(Yes that is a little begging) I am going back and rereading the books to see if I can pick up on any foreshadowing and finally figure it out. random question (as always lol): I noticed the reference to Cherubim in the vision that Sklya has with the guys having the heads of certain animals, but I was wondering if the Caelestis are your interpretation of Principalities or Powers, and if Sectors are based on Dominions in angelology or are they your own creation?

Argh! I can't take it, Addison! I am dying here! It's not even October yet. You would think that Teaser Tuesdays would pacify me but they don't. I even read two new books from other series I am following. One irritated me (being two predictable and lovey dovey) and the other only slightly satisfied me for a few hours because they are not Celestra. They don't make me think obsessively and try to figure out how it all ends. University starts for me next week (Veterinary Medicine), in which I will need to study/read a ton but I don't even think that will help me. As I am reading about boring physiology, immunology and cardiology; I will be thinking where is the class on celestrology. Your books are just that good. I can't even remember how many times I've read the series over again. And I just can't do it again until shortly before the release of the Vex otherwise I will drive myself insane because I will be waiting and waiting. You have anything else you've written that you are going to put out there for us to read. That just might help. Or a great suggestion of something you've read and loved like we love your books?
Danetra – I can't thank you enough for your continued support! I had to laugh about the Celestrology class. That would be a class I would love to take myself. =) If it makes you feel better about the wait, VEX is panning out to be the longest book to date, so there will be much more time spent on Paragon. With every manuscript the books have gotten progressively longer and longer. I seem to have more to say and the characters have more to do with each passing edition. I did answer a lot of questions in VEX. SKyla meets her real mom and confronts Lizbeth. She learns a little more of Marshall's intentions, and Chloe and her schemes are brought to life as well. But alas, all is never as it seems on Paragon and Skyla's world gets even crazier. The beginning of VEX is my all time favorite opening, which probably means nothing other than I like where the scene goes. I hope you'll enjoy it when it finally hits the e-shelves.
Kinda wishing I was your best friend right now, so that I would be able to get an advanced copy of your next book! lol.

Ok, theory crafters, some points to bring up after reading Tremble again:
1) Marshall swears on himself not to hurt Skyla (this is after the arm thing) and says it's a big deal for him to swear that. We also know he can't lie. Thought this was interesting in light of the Wicked ending.
2) I know there's been discussion about the diary influencing Skyla's feelings for Gage and thiught it was interesting to note that Gage didn't want Skyla to read the diary.
OK. Discuss 🙂
Heather – In BURN Skyla and Gage discuss that he didn't want her to read the diary because she would see he was waiting for her. I think he thought it would creep her out, but it just made her love him more. But I do still think it shows us that Gage can make his own visions come true.
I'm not sure if Marshall can't lie. In TREMBLE Logan and Skyla have a telepathic conversation:
Logan: If Marshall said it, then it must be true
Skyla: So Sectors can’t lie?
Logan: He can if he wants, although it’s never referred to as lying. They’d refer to him as a deceiving spirit.
But here's something else I was wondering: Why does Logan not fear Marshall the way everyone else does? In TREMBLE Skyla is startled when Logan refers to Marshall as a 'thing' and Logan looks "pissed" when Skyla tells him Marshall showed her 2 more Counts. And Logan was quick to deck Marshall in the face in WICKED. It seems like they're familiar with each other, which makes me think he is the supervising spirit Logan has been working with all along, since his treble in ETHEREAL.
…and am I the only one that hears Marshall speaking with a WASP or British accent lol?

Heather and Amber J, in reference to Gage and the diary, I think he really wanted her to read it, and that's why he was telling her not to, knowing that telling her not to read it would make her want to read it more. I think that was one of his ways to try and make his vision happen.
Heather as far as Marshall swearing on himself not to hurt Skyla, I think that's why none of the arrows hit her. He had to punish her for betraying his trust (by telling anyone that he was a sector), and he did that by shooting the arrows at her, but he never broke his promise because none of them hit her.
At this point I'm not really sure who I want Skyla to end up with… Logan and Gage have both either lied to her or stretched the truth way too much and Marshall only seems to want her for selfish reasons. Maybe she will end up with someone else all together.
My question for you guys is this: what do you make of Brielle? Do you think she's against Skyla? If so do you think from the beginning or from the time Chloe comes back?
I've always questioned Brielle. She was very quick to befriend Skyla but when Michelle and the Bitch Squad started causing trouble she was never around to help Skyla out. Then there was the part where she found the piece of broken glass and warned Skyla not to trust anyone. Idk but she's always seemed a bit off to me.
This question is for Addison…I am wondering if in Vex we will find out if Logan was really going back and talking to Skyla's dad, and if he was, what was happening between the two of them?
Heather and Amber J, love the theroy talk! You both bring up great questions, hopefully the awesome Addison will get us some answers soon. I can only hope that it is early Nov!!
Ariel – I think Brielle has known all along. She immediately becomes best friends with Skyla, she is the one that convinced Skyla to go to Marshall's on the day that Chloe slits her throat, she tells Skyla she maybe swimming with the person that did it and then another time she is sitting on Skyla's bed and ask her if she is afraid of her. Keeping in mind that when Skyla first showed up that she was so heart broken about losing her best friend Chloe. Only thing I can't figure out is why Brielle and Chloe aren't immediately best buds once Chloe comes back.
All this thinking back to the books makes me want to read them again but unfortunately school has started again so that is very unlikely. But Yay! for all of you that can and then post interesting theories/questions on here.
Also Logan's comment about Twitter made me real disappointed that I haven't tapped into all ways to stock Addison on the status of the books/updates. I will have to get on top of it. Love finding out that Vex is finished and in the polishing stages.
Addison – 100k?! That's pretty awesome. The bigger the better! The longer it is, the longer it'll take me to read, and the less time I'll have to wait until book 6!
From the way it sounds, VEX is going to advance in the overall plot, and give us some answers, so I cannot wait! It's probably going to be my favorite. But then again, I always like the next one better than the last, and they're all super good! Ahhhh! Can we please just skip October? I like Thanksgiving better than Halloween anyways…
I agree with Logan (the real one, not the fictional one lol): if VEX's size is any indication, then we will be getting some real answers to all of our questions soon — in a perfect world, "soon" would be Halloween lol (which would be a great release date since VEX is in the paranormal genre lol). I do have two final questions though:
1. In WICKED Skyla & Gage have a convo:
Skyla: Are you sending me an invitation?
Gage: Oh, I'm definitely sending you an invitation?
But then later on they have this exchange:
Skyla: First, I want to thank you for sending the invitation. I thought I was going to have to send it myself.
Gage: What invitation?
Skyla: You know, the body invite.
Gage: Body invite?
Skyla: So did you bring protection?
Gage: Against what?
I am so confused about this situation; what did Gage really mean if it wasn't what Skyla meant?
2. Logan and Skyla have this convo:
Logan: So how are things with you and Gage?
Skyla: Great. Except for, you know, Chloe. I have no idea what's going on.
Logan: I do. Holden the friendly ghost ring a bell?
Then they go on to talk about how Chloe is controlling Gage by threatening to tell the police Skyla killed Holden and that they need to prove Chloe killed Emerson. But since we find out it all had to do with Marshall, what does this conversation really mean? Is Logan trying to use Skyla to absolve himself of any wrongdoing in Emerson's murder or does he know something we don't know?
*Crossing my fingers, hoping A. Moore can answer some of this lol*

Logan Rutherford – For sure VEX is a behemoth. It does advance the overall plot by leaps and bounds. And yes, probably some time around Thanksgiving for the delivery of the book. Still loving your name!
Amber J. – Yes, I can for sure answer those two! Gage simply thought he was 'inviting' Skyla to a private birthday celebration where the two of them could finally exchange gifts and was startled when he realized Skyla thought it had far more sexual implications than it did. In WICKED Skyla was the sexual aggressor. Things might change in VEX. 😉
The part about Logan and SKyla's exchange; At that point, I don't think she or Logan realized that Chloe actually was holding the fact that Marshall was a Sector over Skyla. Instead, they believed it was something far more simple like the fact she had killed Holden and confessed it to Chloe at the dinner party at the Bishop's house. Chloe had far bigger blackmail involved.
If I've continued to confuse you please let me know and I'll try to clarify. =)

Trebles have to have a supervising spirit? Ellis could do a treble in Tremble (never ending pot supply) and so I just assumed either Gage or Logan was the one doing the treble in Ethereal, especially since it didn't last very long.
I remember that convo abt Marshall between Logan and Skyla but because they have continued to call him a Sector and not a deceiving spirit I went with the whole he can't lie theory. And to his credit (or not) Marshall has done everything he said he was going to do; good and bad.
Ariel-great point about the arrows not hitting her. We know Skyla can't run that fast (or not clumsily) 😉

Hey you guys – so I am suppose to be studying but instead find myself rereading Wicked (ssh don't tell) and I noticed somethings.
I don't think Logan is bad. Rereading him going with Skyla to see her father, them going to see his parents and then light driving to kill the counts. He seems real genuine and truthful not just to her but to her father and her parents. Also weird thing I noticed that when they are visiting her father, Skyla ask if he can visit her. Her father "gives a passing glance at Logan and lingers there a moment before redirecting his solemn gaze". Makes me wonder if Logan had already been visiting her father or if he was planning something in his mind to work with Logan. You guys have any thoughts there or just think it was nothing?
Regarding Marshall: I noticed he called her the women of his house ("As the woman of the house, I'll gladly let you supervise") and his wife when he told "try not to have such lewd thoughts around me regarding the pretty one. It's infuriating to see my wife engage in carnal relations with someone other than myself."
Also noticed that when Marshall tells Skyla her mother wasn't pleased that he wanted to procreate with her and then Skyla said "She can find comfort in the fact that it's not going to happen", Marshall very seriously tells her "Something is going to happen between us, Skyla. I found that all very interesting and am wondering if Addison is foreshadowing there.
And I agree with someone who mentioned above that perhaps Gage is going to die. His poem says, "I'll stand beside you until I am driven, into the light so brilliant – into the light sublime." I am thinking the light that is so brilliant and sublime has to be him going to heaven.
Anyways I am going to go now and try to be a good student. But I'll check back to see what you guys think. And feel free to comment Addison – I am sure you have the best ideas/theories (knowledge) of these areas. But I won't hold my breath as I am sure you can't comment on any of this.
I told myself I wasn't going to ask anymore questions and I'm trying to my best to sit and wait patiently for VEX (is it November yet? lol), but…
Danetra – I was the one that said Gage's statements and behavior make it seem like he isn't going to make it to the end of the series. Like in WICKED when Skyla makes him promise that he will never leave or lie to her, and he says, "There is nothing on this planet, in heaven or hell, that can keep me from you." Maybe that will even explain why he becomes more aggressive in VEX, since he knows his time is limited. And I like the point you bring up about Logan; I hope he's been visiting with Skyla's father since he discovered he could light drive safely in TREMBLE. And Skyla ending up with Marshall would be an awesome twist =)
Heather – I was trying to say Marshall can lie, he just hasn't lied yet; he's remained true to his word. And Logan told Skyla in WICKED that the Counts could catch up with them if they trebled but they would need a supervising spirit to do that.
As always, hoping Addison can shed some light on this. (It's starting to feel like we've sort of hijacked your blog with all the theory talk, sorry if that's the case.)

Umm, I guess this isn't specifically a Celestra related question lol, but I was wondering if you work on two or more series simultaneously? And if you do, do you think it helps the quality and development of both series? Or do you wait until you've successfully put a series/project to bed before you start another?

Amber J. – I do, but rarely. Right now I'm working mostly on VEX, but when I need a tiny breather work on my new series, which I'm still hopeful to release soon. As far as helping or hindering the two books– I think it helps. Sometimes my brain just needs a tiny vacation, and it supplies just that while keeping me productive. I have some writer friends who can juggle way more than I could ever hope to. I think two projects at a time is my limit.

Ahhh! Not only does VEX come out in November, but INHERTIANCE by Christopher Paloni (which I've been waiting on for years) comes out at the beginning of the month! Logan, I have a super rough outline myself. I sort of like to leave some room to pants it. But I do need to know beginning, middle and end, sort of like a loose road map. And don't worry if you don't like the first draft! What important is if you like it after 20 drafts. 😉

Every time one of your books comes out I run around the house bouncing with excitement and my family just doesn't get it, then I hold up in my room and devour the book in one sitting. Tessa, You are so sweet! Thank you for reading my books, and I'm so glad you're enjoying the series! Vex will not be the last book, the series still has a book or two or three or ten to go. I'm letting it run its course. The resolution of the faction war and what happens to Skyla, Gage, and Logan will be revealed sooner than later, but I have plans to keep the series going. At least that's what my brain tells me today. 😉 Right now I'm polishing VEX so it sparkles come November. I really hope you'll enjoy it. Also there are the Tuesday teasers of VEX on my FB page that I plan on continuing until it comes out. I hope you're enjoying those as well!! =)

This is my first NaNoWriMo, so I'm not sure how the whole buddy thing works, but hopefully I can figure it out by Tuesday.
Also, do we have to add our whole novel as we go along, or can we just leave bits and pieces? I only ask because you have done this before.
Amber J. – YAY NaNo!!!! I think. As far as words go, I think if I remember you just input your total whenever you feel like updating, then at the end you can upload your file for them to verify. You are also allowed to scramble your doc before inputting it into their system in the event you fear they will read it. I always scramble. There's a way to convert your file into gibberish. I'll try and look it up for you if you're interested. Unless of course they've changed things this year, lol. But I doubt they have.
And speaking of change… my big news is a comin'!!!! Hopefully this week or next!!! Be warned! =)

Amber Avery, I finally figured it out. You go to search and type in their NaNo name, which can be tricky because some people use different names for NaNo.
The best part of NaNo is that it's really just an exercise to get your brain in word producing mode. You can write almost anything in a first draft. 🙂 Go Amber!

This was one busy Halloween, so I was able to push NaNoWriMo to the back of my mind all day, but it's past midnight now here in NYC so I guess here we go!
Hopefully I'll have my first 50,000 words and a copy of VEX waiting for me in my Kindle app by the end of November 🙂

The most words I've ever written in a day is an ungodly number that I hardly believe. In fact I've never even come close to this number since then. It was around 16K. I remember thinking I would never write a single word after that from the trauma of it all. Do not attempt this feat at home, lol. Word counts like that are what zombie's are made of.

I just finished watching my newest favorite show called "The Secret Circle". It makes me think about the Celestra series because there's an actor on it named Chris Zylka that would be the perfect Logan, but I digress lol.
"The Vampire Diaries", another popular show comes on just before it, and I discovered today that both shows were both originally…book series…in YA paranormal genre.
And then a light bulb went off lol. So is it ok to ask if the big news has something in common with the information I have just mentioned?

Okay Addison, I've been checking in on your guys but haven't posted anything until now and you will understand in a minute what has driven me out again.
First like to say that I hope the writing is going really well for you, Logan and Amber! Wish I could say my studying has been going as well but have been in ever search of good books to read while waiting for Vex. Finally have one series that seems to be helping me pass the time but not study.
So here it is: I always check to see how you are doing and if by chance your news has been posted. So of course I caught the recent comments between you and Amber regarding your news, a t.v. series and then your response about that being epic. The word epic struck me …I had heard that before in fact from you in regards to your news so I searched the comments & this is what I came up with, "Amy – *epic* HUGE ~aMaZiNg~ news to come… 😉 I would do anything if I could share right now." So has me wondering now, could it be??? I would watch it too if I could find a way to stream it online in UK as it is hard to get some stuff over here in London. But never fear I am all for it and will find a way to watch it if it is true!
So still here, still waiting…..and sadly no news and no Vex but hope it arrives soon. And no pressure or anything but I hope the book following Vex is finished soon & going to editor cause you know all your crazy fans will be ready for it shortly following the release of Vex and of course what could be better than having it as an early Xmas gift. 😉

Second, you are quite the detective! lol! I neither confirm nor deny anything. But I will say I'm just waiting for one piece of mail to arrive, and when it does I'll do a fresh blog post with an announcement of my big news as soon as possible.
As far as Celestra 6 before Christmas, I'm not sure about that, but January looks more promising. I might launch my new series around the same time, but that's still to be seen. I feel like I'm cheating on Celestra with it. I'll try to have a cover and title up for book 6 right after VEX launches. I'm pretty excited about that, covers and titles are always fun. =)

Amber A – My NaNo novel is sputtering along. I barely have 1500 words and we're already into Day 6 🙁 It's like my mind is moving too fast and my fingers can't keep up. Not to mention I'm typing the whole thing on Word To Go on my Blackberry lol. I don't know how you authors do it.
And I am sooo taking credit for guessing the epic news first if I'm correct lol.
A Celestra TV series would be perfect for the CW (do all of you out west even have that network?) or maybe even MTV! *gasp*…but again, this is just me speculating. These are not the views of Addison Moore lol.
Logan, It's going to be tweaked, but I just spoke with my cover designer a.k.a my husband, and he informed me it might not be that big of a change. We shall play with it and see. At the same time I'm going to try and develop a cover for book 6! I'm really excited about that. =)
And, get that word count cracking! You're doing a great job in the writing cave!
